Ages ago in 2018, Emilia Petruccelli and Domitilla Dardi thoughts MADE IN EDIT, a project with the goal of enhancing cultural financial resources and regional manufacturing through special collaborations meant to develop, research and create new commodities. For the second edition of EDIT Napoli, MADE IN EDIT portrays ORA, a collect of tools that aim to reinvent wellness through a new daily ritual.
Created by Sara Ricciardi, decorator, and produced by Simone Piva, refined craftsman and master of materials, the name of the collection derives from the Benedictine monition — ora et labora( cry and act ). Ricciardi and Piva have brought to life a brand-new definition of wellness, one that’s measured and aware, using careful gesticulates meant to respect the materials and their strength.
The ORA sequence includes six objectives, generate a ritual that starts with the Fontana( fountain) in rose quartz and copper, which initiates the hertz of liquid in the circular mold of the ouroboros, a type of purity and constant metamorphosi. Next is the use of the Incensiere( censer) in copper to stimulate the olfactory impression, and two Massaggiatori( massagers) for opening the energy directs of the sides and feet by rubbing them with bumpy slabs of develop quartz. Time is recognized by Clessidra, an open hourglass. End the ritual with a series of Pesi Specifici( values) for gentle strengthening. The diverse raw material abused- zebrawood, Nero Marquina marble, pink marble, brass and Vincenza Stone in yellowed and gray-headed- determine the value and vigour of energy exerted.
MADE IN EDIT’s rotates are continually turning, and the creators are currently working on the 2021 collecting, which will be presented during the third publication of EDIT Napoli.
